New Artifact deck

An awesome blog by Mathew Hoy and James Mathias.

Mathew started playing Magic: The Gathering during the Revised cycle, got out of it around the time of Urza's Saga, but returned to the fore when M10 came out.

James began playing magic in the summer of '93, and left the game behind mere days before the release of Urza's Destiny. He has returned full force since the release of Zendikar.

While I’m totally unable to build this deck, I came up with it after looking at a bunch of cards you might play in a casual multiplayer format. The deck is pretty fun I think.

TOTAL: 60 cards

The basic idea of the deck is to play as many artifacts as you can, generate a ton of mana from them, then force your opponents to draw cards until they can’t or fireball the fudge out of them. It’s not very good in normal play (terrible, really), but for casual play with some pals, I think it would be fun.
